Road route from Lithuania to Monaco
The fastest road route from Klaipėda to Monaco is about 2,420 km. The truck drives through Poland, Czechia and Austria and enters Italy near Tarvisio. It follows Italian motorways past Verona and Genoa to the coast. The last kilometres run on the French A8 motorway, because Monaco borders only France.
Poland, Czechia and Austria charge tolls for each kilometre. Italy and France charge tolls on their motorways. The price we agree includes the road tolls in every country on the route.

Truck driving bans on the way to Monaco
Austria, Italy and France ban trucks over 7.5 t on certain days. Austria bans them from 15:00 on Saturday to 22:00 on Sunday and on public holidays. Italy publishes a calendar of ban days every year. France bans them every weekend and on public holidays. We plan the trip around these days.
Italy has special hours for international trucks. For a truck that arrives from abroad with documents for its trip, a ban starts four hours later. For a truck that leaves Italy for abroad, a ban ends two hours earlier.

Both countries are in the EU customs territory, so EU goods travel between them without an export declaration and without customs formalities. Every load travels with a CMR consignment note. Add the invoice and a packing list, so the receiver can check the goods at delivery.
If the route crosses a country outside the EU, the load travels with a transit document. Goods from outside the EU that are not yet cleared also need a transit document. Tell us before loading.
