Truck ferry from Klaipėda to Sweden
Truck ferries sail from Klaipėda to Karlshamn and Trelleborg in Sweden. The crossing takes one night. A driver with a cabin on board can take the daily rest during the crossing. We book the crossing that fits your loading and delivery dates.
The ferry ticket is part of the price we agree with you. You get one fixed price for the whole trip and one invoice from RNJ Transport.
Documents for loads to and from Sweden
Sweden and Lithuania are both in the EU. EU goods travel between them without an export declaration and without customs formalities. Every load travels with a CMR consignment note. Add the invoice and a packing list, so the receiver can check the goods at delivery.
Goods from outside the EU that are not yet cleared need a transit document. Tell us before loading.

Winter rules for trucks in Sweden
From 10 November to 10 April, trucks over 3.5 tonnes and their trailers need winter tyres in Sweden, in any weather. The rule also covers trucks registered in other countries. The truck tyres need at least 5 mm of tread. Sweden has no duty to carry snow chains.
Snow can slow a truck in winter. Agree a delivery window with the receiver, and book early when you know the loading date.
