Project and multi-truck loads on fixed dates
RNJ Transport plans project loads from Klaipėda, Lithuania: several trucks on fixed dates for one construction site or one project. We book the trucks, match them to your delivery slots and check every carrier. You have one contact person for the whole project. A client that builds data centres books 5 to 10 trucks at a time with us.
- A project load is several trucks booked for one site or project, each on a fixed date or delivery slot.
- RNJ Transport books the trucks, checks every carrier and gives you one contact person for the whole project.
- A client that builds data centres books 5 to 10 trucks at a time with RNJ Transport.
- All invoices come from RNJ Transport, also when several partner carriers drive.

What a project load is
A project load is a set of truckloads that must reach one site on planned dates. Examples are steel, ventilation units, cable and equipment for a construction site, a factory line or a data centre. The trucks must arrive in the right order and in the booked delivery slots, because the site cannot store everything at once.
One client of RNJ Transport builds data centres. Their project manager calls our planners and books 5 to 10 trucks at a time. We plan the trucks and dates, and the client talks only to us.
Projects we have delivered
These are two project loads we have delivered.
- Solar modules for solar parks with a total area of 1,000 hectares.
- A complete ventilation system for a data centre in Sweden.
How we plan a project
We plan a project in six steps, from the delivery schedule to the last CMR. You have one contact person at every step. For large projects, our planners agree the plan with your site manager before the first truck loads.
-
You send the schedule
Send the pickup places, the site address, the number of loads and the delivery slots for each day.
-
We plan the trucks
We match each load to a truck: our own truck where the route fits, or a checked partner carrier.
-
You get a fixed price
We send a fixed price for each load or for the whole project.
-
Truck list before loading
Before each loading day, you get the plate numbers and the driver phone numbers for every truck.
-
We follow every truck
We follow each truck to the site and tell your site manager early if a slot changes.
-
Documents for every load
After each delivery, you get the signed CMR consignment note. All invoices come from RNJ Transport.
Delivery slots and site rules
A construction site gives each truck a delivery slot. A truck that misses its slot can wait for hours or lose the slot. We give every driver the slot time, the site address, the site contact and the site rules before the truck leaves. When a truck is late, we call the site before the slot.
Trucks for project loads
RNJ Transport plans project trucks on our main routes and on other EU routes on request. Our own trucks take loads where the route fits. Checked partner carriers take the rest, because a project often needs more trucks than we own. The table shows what we confirm before a project starts.

What sets the price of a project
A project price is set per load or for the whole project. The number of trucks, the routes, fixed delivery slots, waiting time at the site and the notice you give us all change it. With more notice, trucks are easier to find and the price is easier to hold. Send the site address, the dates and the number of trucks in the price form, or call us.
Our Prices page explains each price factor.
Good fit
- Construction and installation projects with fixed delivery slots
- Contractors who book several trucks at a time
- Companies outside the Baltic states that want one contact for many trucks
Not a good fit
- Projects without a delivery schedule: we need dates to plan the trucks
- Many trucks for the same day, ordered that day
Frequently asked questions
-
How many trucks can you send to one site?
Ask us with your schedule. We plan several trucks for one site, on one day or over several weeks. A client that builds data centres books 5 to 10 trucks at a time with us. The more notice you give, the more trucks we can find.
-
Can you deliver in fixed time slots?
Yes. We give each driver the delivery slot, the site address and the site contact before the truck leaves. We follow every truck and call the site before the slot if a truck is late. Tell us the slots when you book.
-
Do I get one contact for the whole project?
Yes. One contact person at RNJ Transport handles every truck in the project, from the first plan to the last CMR. You do not need to call the partner carriers. All invoices come from RNJ Transport, also when several carriers drive.
-
What do you need to plan a project?
We need the pickup places, the site address, the number of loads, the size and weight of each load, and the delivery slots. Also send the site rules for drivers and the name of the site contact. A spreadsheet with one row per truck works well.
-
Do you use your own trucks for projects?
Sometimes. Our own trucks take project loads when the route and dates fit, mostly between Lithuania and Sweden. Most project trucks come from checked partner carriers, because a project needs more trucks than we own. You get the plate numbers for every truck, ours or a partner’s.
-
What happens if a truck is late for its slot?
We call you and the site before the slot. We follow every truck on the road, so we see a delay early. We then agree a new slot or a new order of trucks with your site manager. You get the new arrival time from us, not from the driver.
