Own-fleet transport between Lithuania and Sweden
RNJ Transport runs its own 2 MAN TGX trucks with curtainsider trailers from Klaipėda, Lithuania. Our own drivers carry full loads, mostly between Lithuania and Sweden by ferry, and also inside Lithuania. Space on our own trucks is limited, so book early. When our trucks are full, we place your load with a checked partner carrier.

What own-fleet transport includes
Own-fleet transport means your load travels on an RNJ Transport truck with one of our own drivers. We plan the truck, the driver and the ferry crossing ourselves. You get one fixed price, the plate numbers before loading, the signed CMR consignment note after delivery, and one invoice.

Trucks and trailers
RNJ Transport runs 2 MAN TGX tractors, each with a curtainsider trailer. A curtainsider has side curtains that open, so a forklift can load from the side or from the back. Curtainsiders suit pallets, building materials, furniture and machine parts that need no set temperature.

How a load runs on our own truck
A load on our own truck runs in six steps, from your request to the invoice. Our transport team plans each step, books the ferry and calls you if anything changes. Loads inside Lithuania follow the same steps, without the ferry.

We check where our trucks are on that date. If both are busy, we offer a checked partner carrier.

Loading
Before loading, you get the plate numbers and the driver’s phone number.

Ferry and delivery
The truck crosses the Baltic Sea by ferry and delivers to the address on the CMR.

After delivery, you get the signed CMR consignment note and one invoice.
Limited space and early booking
RNJ Transport has 2 trucks of its own, so our own space is limited. Book as early as you can. Regular loads on the same weekdays are the easiest to plan. If our trucks are full on your date, we place your load with a checked partner carrier, with the same contact and one invoice.
What sets the price
The price for a full load on our own truck is one fixed price for your route and date. Three things change it: the distance on each side of the sea, the ferry and the date. Send the route, the date and the load size in the price form, or call us.

How many trucks does RNJ Transport have?
RNJ Transport has 2 trucks of its own: MAN TGX tractors with curtainsider trailers. Our own drivers run them, mostly with full loads between Lithuania and Sweden, and also inside Lithuania. For other routes, and when our trucks are busy, we book partner carriers and check each one before every load.

Do your trucks go to Sweden by ferry?
Yes. Our trucks cross the Baltic Sea by ferry between Klaipėda and Sweden. We book the crossing and plan the trip around the ferry times. The ferry is part of the trip we plan for you, so you have one contact and one price for the whole load.

Can you take my load if your trucks are full?
Yes. We then book a partner carrier and check it before the load: licence, insurance, company registry, a phone call to a known number, and plate numbers. You keep the same contact and get one invoice from RNJ Transport. We tell you before loading which truck takes your load.

How much does a full truck from Lithuania to Sweden cost?
We give a fixed price for each load, not a list price. The price changes with the pickup and delivery places, the date, the weight and the ferry. Send the route, the date and the load size in the price form, or call us. Our Prices page lists every factor.

Do your own trucks also carry loads inside Lithuania?
Yes. Our own trucks also carry full loads inside Lithuania, for example from the port of Klaipėda to a warehouse inland. When they are on a trip to Sweden, we book a checked partner carrier. You keep the same contact person and one invoice. For more detail, see Road freight in Lithuania.

Is my load insured on your truck?
Your load is covered by the carrier’s liability under the CMR Convention, up to a limit. Under the CMR Convention, the carrier is liable for loss or damage up to 8.33 SDR per kilogram of gross weight, which is about 10 euros per kilogram. If your goods are worth more, tell us their value when you book, so we can talk about cover before the truck leaves.
