Road freight by city and region

RNJ Transport moves full truckloads for companies in every Lithuanian region, and between Lithuania and cities across Northern and Western Europe. Pick a city or a region to see the road distance, the main roads and the local industry. We run our own trucks inside Lithuania and to Sweden, and book checked partner carriers on other routes.

  • RNJ Transport is based in Klaipėda, Lithuania, at Šilutės pl. 105A.
  • Each city page gives the road distance to Klaipėda or to Kaunas, and the driving time with one driver.
  • Our own trucks run inside Lithuania and between Lithuania and Sweden. Other routes use checked partner carriers.
  • We move full truckloads for companies only: no dangerous goods (ADR), no house moves and no parcels.

Full truckloads from every Lithuanian region

RNJ Transport moves full truckloads from Žemaitija, Aukštaitija, Suvalkija, Dzūkija and Lithuania Minor. We collect at the factory, the warehouse or the logistics centre and deliver to the port of Klaipėda, to another Lithuanian city or abroad. From the first call to delivery you deal with one contact person.

A few main roads connect the Lithuanian cities. The A1 runs from Vilnius through Kaunas to Klaipėda. The A5, part of Via Baltica, runs from Kaunas through Marijampolė to Poland. The A12 links Šiauliai with Klaipėda and Riga. From most cities, the drive to Klaipėda fits into one driver’s working day.

Routes between Lithuania and cities abroad

RNJ Transport plans full truckloads between Lithuania and cities in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Latvia and Estonia. Our main route runs from the Netherlands and Belgium to Lithuania and Latvia. Our own trucks run between Lithuania and Sweden on the Klaipėda to Karlshamn ferry. On other routes we book checked partner carriers.

Trucks from Germany, the Benelux and Poland enter Lithuania at the Budzisko and Kalvarija crossing on Via Baltica. Trucks from Sweden and Norway usually take a ferry to Klaipėda. Each city page abroad gives the road distance to Kaunas or to the ferry.

What we move and what we do not

RNJ Transport works for companies only. We move pallets, packed goods, building materials, machinery and other loads that fill a truck. This list shows what we do not move, so you do not lose time.

  • We do not move homes or offices.
  • We do not carry parcels, or furniture for private customers.
  • We do not carry dangerous goods (ADR).
  • We do not transport goods to or from Russia or Belarus.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Do you collect loads from smaller towns in Lithuania?

Yes. We collect a full truckload anywhere in Lithuania that a truck with a semi-trailer can reach. Give the exact address, the date and the load size in the request form. When one of our trucks is free we run the load ourselves. If not, we book a checked partner carrier.

  2. Do you move homes or carry furniture for private customers?

No. RNJ Transport moves loads for companies only: pallets, packed goods, machinery and building materials. We do not move homes and do not carry parcels or furniture for private customers. A removal company is the right choice for that work.

  3. Can you collect from a factory and deliver to the port of Klaipėda?

Yes. We move loads from factories and warehouses all over Lithuania to the terminals and ferries in the port of Klaipėda. Tell us the terminal or the ferry, the date, the number of pallets and the weight. From most Lithuanian cities, the drive to Klaipėda fits into one driver’s working day.

  4. Do you collect in Germany or the Netherlands for delivery in Lithuania?

Yes. The Netherlands and Belgium to Lithuania and Latvia is our main route, and Germany to the Baltic states is another. We book a checked partner carrier for your dates and you deal with one contact person. Send the collection address, the delivery address and the load in the request form.

  5. How are the distances on the city pages worked out?

We use the OSRM route planner on OpenStreetMap data, from city centre to city centre. Routes from Poland and further west enter Lithuania at the Budzisko and Kalvarija crossing. Driving time assumes 60 km/h on average with the breaks the EU rules require. Your exact address changes the distance a little.
