Panels, furniture and castings in Kazlų Rūda
For a town of about 5,400 people, Kazlų Rūda has a large freight base. A panel and furniture company runs two factories here with about 700 staff, and a 2019 renovation doubled the furniture factory’s capacity. Other firms make textiles, metal castings and heating equipment. Forest covers 56% of the municipality, so timber is a local resource too.

Frequently asked questions
-
Can you take panels or furniture parts from Kazlų Rūda to Sweden?
Yes. Boards and flat-pack parts travel north on a curtainsider and cross from Klaipėda to Karlshamn. One of our own trucks drives if it is free. Panel loads weigh a lot, so list the packs and the weight of each one.
-
Do you carry metal castings and heating equipment from Kazlų Rūda?
Yes, when the pieces fit a standard curtainsider trailer. Castings weigh a lot for their volume, so the plan starts from the weight. Heating equipment in crates is planned by size. Send the crate sizes and weights with the delivery address.
-
Can you deliver films or packaging from Germany to Kazlų Rūda?
Yes. Partner trucks that we check carry packaging, films and fittings from German suppliers via Poland, entering Lithuania at Kalvarija. Kazlų Rūda is about 60 km past the border. Tell us the supplier, the plant gate and the delivery window.
-
Is Kazlų Rūda on the Rail Baltica line?
Yes, on the existing line. Kazlų Rūda has European-gauge Rail Baltica track on the line from Kaunas to Poland, and freight trains already use it. A new Rail Baltica mainline is only planned. Our trucks link rail sites with your plant by road when you need it.
