The A16 and the road to Kaunas
Prienai lies on the A16, part of the E28 route between Vilnius and Marijampolė, where Via Baltica passes. A second road connects the town with Kaunas, only 36 km away, and with Alytus. With no railway station in Prienai, every load goes by truck.
Trucks for Klaipėda port and the Karlshamn ferry go through Kaunas and then west on the A1. Poland is about 85 km away at Kalvarija, past Marijampolė.

Do you carry windows from Prienai to Scandinavia or Germany?
Yes, packed windows on racks or pallets. They go north through Kaunas to Klaipėda for Sweden, where our own trucks drive when free, or west through Poland for Germany with checked partners. Send the rack sizes and weights before you book.

Is Prienai close to Kaunas?
Yes. Kaunas is about 36 km north of Prienai, the shortest distance of any Suvalkija town on our pages. Loads from Prienai can go to Kaunas warehouses or pass through Kaunas to the A1. We plan these short domestic runs as full truckloads.

Can you move gliders built at Pociūnai?
Only if the crate fits a standard curtainsider trailer. Gliders are long, so give us all the crate measurements and the weight first. Larger units need special transport, which we do not offer. For packed parts and smaller crates, we plan a normal full load.
