Freight forwarding for logistics managers with regular lanes

RNJ Transport works with logistics managers who ship full truckloads on regular lanes between the Baltic states, Benelux, Germany and Scandinavia. You send next week’s volume in one call, and we plan all the trucks. Every load gets a written order, a checked carrier, the truck numbers before loading, one invoice and a copy of the signed CMR.

  • Regular customers call RNJ Transport with next week’s volume, and we plan all the trucks.
  • Every load with RNJ Transport starts with a written transport order and ends with one invoice and a copy of the signed CMR.
  • We check every partner carrier before every load: the licence, the company register, the insurance, a phone call and the plate numbers.
  • Every order, CMR and invoice stays in our transport management system, so we can trace any load.
  • RNJ Transport can be the second forwarder on your list for one lane.

A regular lane with RNJ Transport, week by week

A regular lane with RNJ Transport runs the same way every week. You send the week’s loads in one call or one email. We plan the trucks, confirm each one and send the truck numbers before loading. After delivery, you get a copy of the signed CMR and one invoice per load. The table shows who sends what, and when.

Next week’s volume in one call

Repeat customers call us with next week’s volume, for example several trucks on two lanes, and we arrange all of them. You do not search freight exchanges for each load, and you explain your goods once. One contact person knows your lanes, your loading hours and your receivers’ slots. Send the volume as soon as you know it.

Our own 2 MAN TGX trucks mostly run full loads between Lithuania and Sweden. From the Netherlands and Belgium to Lithuania and Latvia, and between Germany and the Baltic states, we book checked partner carriers. Trucks we find on freight exchanges pass the same check.

Written orders, carrier checks and one invoice

Every load starts with your written transport order. It names the route, the dates, the goods, the price and the contacts at both addresses. We confirm the truck with the carrier, enter the order in our transport management system and send you the truck and trailer numbers. One invoice follows once the documents are in.

We check every partner carrier before every load. We do not give your load to a second company without telling you. The check covers these points:

  • The carrier’s EU Community licence
  • The company register: an active company without tax or social insurance debts
  • A valid CMR liability insurance certificate
  • A phone call to the carrier on a number we already know
  • The truck and trailer plates and the driver’s phone, before loading

RNJ Transport as the second forwarder on your list

A shipper with regular lanes often keeps two or three forwarders for each lane. RNJ Transport can be the second one. Send us some loads on one lane, so we learn your goods and your conditions. When your main forwarder has no free truck, we already know your loading hours, your documents and your receivers.

Start with one usual load on your lane. After it, score us like your other forwarders: the times, the truck details, the CMR copy and the invoice. Our guide to choosing a freight forwarder has a template for comparing quotes.

Supplier file and the annual price review

Before the first regular load, your company may need us in its supplier file. Our Supplier documents page lists our company data, and we send the supplier pack by email on request. We also complete your supplier questionnaire. We agree payment terms with you before the first order.

For your annual price review, send us the lanes, the expected volume and the equipment for each lane, in the same table you send to other forwarders. We price each lane, so you compare the same job. Road tolls and ferries are in the one price for each load.

What to send for a regular lane

  1. Lanes, with loading and delivery postcodes
  2. Expected loads per week or per month on each lane
  3. Pallet count, sizes and weight of a usual load
  4. Loading and receiving hours at each address
  5. Trailer type and loading method
  6. Documents that travel with each load
  7. Email address for orders and invoices

Frequently asked questions

  1. Can we send next week’s volume in one email?

Yes. Send the lanes, the dates and the load data for each load in one email or one call. We plan all the trucks and confirm each one with a price. Then you send a written transport order for each load. Before each loading, you get the truck and trailer numbers and the driver’s phone number.

  2. Who is our contact person?

One contact person at RNJ Transport follows your loads from the order to the invoice. You explain your lanes and your goods once. You talk to us, not to the carrier. If the arrival time changes, we tell you and the receiving warehouse. Our office works Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, Lithuanian time.

  3. Do you check the carriers you book?

Yes, before every load. We check the carrier’s EU licence, the company register, the debts and the CMR insurance certificate. We call the carrier on a number we already know and get the truck and trailer plates before loading. Trucks from freight exchanges pass the same check. We do not give your load to another company without telling you.

  4. Do you send one invoice per load?

Yes. RNJ Transport sends one invoice per load, also when a partner carrier drives. The invoice comes with a copy of the signed CMR, once the documents are in. If your accounting needs a reference on each invoice, such as your order number, tell us before the first load.

  5. Can you be our second forwarder for one lane?

Yes. Send us a few loads on that lane, so we learn your goods, your loading hours and your receivers. When your main forwarder has no free truck, we already know the conditions. Our main lanes run from the Netherlands and Belgium to Lithuania and Latvia, between Lithuania and Sweden or Norway, and between Germany and the Baltic states.

  6. Do you take part loads on our regular lane?

We focus on full truckloads. We take a part load only when it fits a truck we already plan. For regular lanes, send us full loads, and we plan a truck for each one. If your volume changes from week to week, tell us early, so we plan the right number of trucks.
