Export road freight for manufacturers and exporters
RNJ Transport arranges export trucks for manufacturers and exporters in Lithuania that sell on DAP or CPT terms. Our own trucks carry full loads between Lithuania and Sweden. Checked partner carriers take loads to Norway and Germany. For Norway, you can order the customs declarations with the transport. One contact person follows each load from the order to the CMR.
- Under the Incoterms 2020 rules DAP and CPT, the seller books and pays the truck, so an exporter that sells on these terms is our customer.
- RNJ Transport runs 2 MAN TGX trucks with curtainsider trailers, mostly with full loads between Lithuania and Sweden.
- Norway is outside the EU customs union, so an export load to Norway needs an EU export declaration and a Norwegian import declaration.
- For loads to Norway, RNJ Transport customers can order the customs declarations together with the transport, through our partner customs broker.
- Regular exporters can send next week’s loads in one call, and we plan all the trucks.

Export sales on DAP or CPT terms
Under the Incoterms 2020 rules DAP and CPT, the seller books and pays the main transport. So when your company sells on these terms, the truck is your job. Under DAP, the risk stays with you until the truck arrives at the named place. Under CPT, the risk passes to the buyer when you give the goods to the carrier.
Agree the delivery terms before your sales team quotes a delivered price. Ask us for the transport price first, then add it to your offer. Write the rule, the full delivery address and “Incoterms 2020” in the contract.
Under EXW or FCA, your customer abroad books the truck. The customer can book it with us too. Then your warehouse loads the goods on the agreed day.
Who does what on the loading day
An export load runs well when each person in your company has one task on the loading day. Sales confirms the delivery slot. Production gives the pallet data. The warehouse loads the truck and checks the CMR. Accounting files the documents. One person books the truck and talks to us. Our first export guide has the full nine-step plan.
Before loading, we send the truck and trailer numbers and the driver’s phone number. Give them to the warehouse and to site security, so they know which truck to expect.
| Who | What they do | What we need from them |
|---|---|---|
| Sales or export manager | Confirms the customer’s address, the delivery date and the slot | The delivery slot and the booking number |
| Production | Finishes and packs the order and marks the stacking rule on each pallet | Pallet count, sizes, gross weight and stacking rule |
| The person who books the truck | Sends the written transport order and gives the truck numbers to the warehouse | The written order and a contact person at both addresses |
| Warehouse lead | Loads the truck, gives the driver the invoice and the packing list, signs the CMR | The loading hours and the loading place |
| Accountant | Files the sales invoice, the signed CMR and our invoice together | The email address for our invoices |
Our own trucks between Lithuania and Sweden
RNJ Transport runs 2 MAN TGX trucks with curtainsider trailers. They mostly carry full loads between Lithuania and Sweden and cross by ferry from Klaipėda. A standard curtainsider takes 33 euro pallets on the floor and about 24 tonnes. When our trucks are busy, a checked partner carrier takes the load, and your contact person stays the same.
Loads to Germany travel with checked partner carriers. We check every partner carrier before every load: the licence, the company register, the insurance, a phone call and the plate numbers.
Export loads to Norway and other countries outside the EU
Norway is outside the EU customs union, so an export load to Norway needs an EU export declaration and a Norwegian import declaration. Since 15 September 2026, every truck with goods for Norway also sends Digitoll data to Norwegian Customs, at the latest at the border. Checked partner carriers drive our loads to Norway.
You can order the declarations together with the transport. Our partner customs broker prepares them, and your contact person at RNJ Transport stays the same. If your company or your customer already works with a customs broker, give us its contact when you book.
The same rule applies to other countries outside the EU customs union, such as the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Agree with your customer who prepares each declaration before the truck is booked.
Regular weekly export loads
Many manufacturers ship to the same customers every week. When you know next week’s orders, call us with the whole volume, for example several trucks, and we plan all of them. You do not search freight exchanges for each load. One contact person knows your goods, your loading hours and your customers’ slots.
Save your first transport order as a template. For the next loads, change only the dates, the quantities and the delivery slot. Every order, CMR and invoice stays in our transport management system, so we can trace any load later.

Frequently asked questions
-
Who books the truck when we sell DAP?
You do, as the seller. Under DAP, the seller books and pays the truck to the named place, for example the customer’s warehouse. The risk stays with you until the truck arrives. Under CPT, you also book the truck, but the risk passes to the buyer at loading. Ask us for the transport price before you quote a delivered price.
-
Do you take export loads to Sweden on your own trucks?
Yes, when the dates fit. Our own trucks mostly run full loads between Lithuania and Sweden, by ferry from Klaipėda. When they are busy, a checked partner carrier takes the load. In both cases you have one contact person and one invoice from RNJ Transport. After delivery, you get a copy of the signed CMR.
-
Can you arrange customs for a load to Norway?
Yes, through our partner customs broker. You order the declarations together with the transport, and your contact person stays the same. A load to Norway needs an EU export declaration and a Norwegian import declaration. When you book, tell us who prepares each one: you, your customer, your own broker or our partner.
-
What does our warehouse need on the loading day?
A loading place, a forklift and a person who checks the load. Give the warehouse the truck and trailer numbers we send before loading. The warehouse gives the driver the invoice and the packing list. Before signing the CMR, check the number of packages and the weight. Keep one signed copy for accounting.
-
Which documents does our accountant get from you?
A copy of the signed CMR and one invoice for each load. We send the CMR copy after delivery and the invoice once the documents are in. For a 0% VAT sale to another EU country, the signed CMR is usually one proof that the goods left Lithuania. Ask your accountant which documents your company keeps.
-
Can we send next week’s loads in one call?
Yes. Regular customers call us with next week’s volume, for example several trucks to different customers, and we plan all of them. Send the loading dates, the addresses and the pallet data for each load. We confirm each truck and send its numbers before loading. You keep one contact person for all of them.
